Tjolöholm Castle is Sweden’s leading Art and crafts property. The Castle was built in English 16th century style, with gardens leading down to the sea, and a picturesque village with a church. It is the ideal site for a magical, fairytale wedding.
The castle church gives wonderful atmosphere to the service, but it is also possible to exchange vows on the lawn between the castle and the sea, or even inside the castle, with a crackling open fire in the background, for the perfect winter wedding.
The castle terrace is the preferred place for drinks, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. A first class dinner can be arranged in the dinning room, before dancing in the main hall. The dinning room seats up to 90 guests, but with additional seating in the hall, up to 130 guests can be accommodated.
The Storstugan restaurant (the former village hall) is also a perfect setting for a cosy, smaller scale wedding, with room for 60 guests, and views over typical Halland landscape. For occasions in either The Castle or the Storstugan restaurant we require a party of at least 30 people.
The former gatehouse or the apartment above Storstugan are perfect settings for a romantic wedding night. The estate can also accommodate an additional 20 guests overnight.
The Castle and Storstugan are also perfect for other celebrations, special occasions or company parties. Manegen can accommodate larger parties, of 100 to 220 guests.
