By car
Tjolöholm Castle is situated about 40 km south of Gothenburg. From the E6/E20, take exit 58, towards Fjärås/Tjolöholm. Follow the signposts to Tjolöholm from there.

By bus
Take the train from Gothenburg to Kungsbacka, and then the 732 bus towards Frillesås. Get off at the ‘Torpa Smedja’ bus stop, from there it is a 3,5 km walk to Tjolöholm. You find timetables here.

Parking
There are a total of approximately 3,000 parking spaces on the estate. Disabled spaces are available in the gravel parking lot closest to the parking machine and along the road towards the beach northwest of the castle. The parking fee is 40kr/4h (between 2/6 – 27/8 50kr/4h) and after 4 hours our fee is 10kr/h.
Quickstop
Quickstop offered for campers and caravans, but only on Tjolöholm’s parking lots for a fee of 185 SEK/night. Quick Stop parking is marked with a sign, on the right when you arrive to Tjolöholm. There are six places with electricity and three extra long places, a total of 15 places. Toilet and shower, open 24 hours a day, are located in the red house adjacent to the car park, about 150 meters from the parking spaces. A maximum of two days. In addition, there is no camping at Tjolöholm.
Restroom
Toilets are available in Manegen, outside Magasinet and in Storstugan. Adjacent to the parking lots is a toilet that is open all year round, 24 hours a day. There is also a shower here that can be used by visitors.
Disabled toilets are available in the Castle shop and in Storstugan. There is also a disabled toilet at the car park which is available 24 hours a day, all year round.
