Restaurant Storstugan

Restaurant Storstugan was built in 1904 in national romantic style and is perfectly situated with views over the meadows, sea and forest. Fresh organic, seasonally based and locally grown produce is used in restaurant Storstugan’s kitchen. Some of the vegetables and herbs are grown in our own vegetable garden, Hemtrefnaden. During spring and summer, it’s lovely to sit in the courtyard while enjoying a view of our beautiful fields and meadows. During autumn and winter, the fire crackles in the fireplace and spreads warmt after long nature walks.

Café Manegen and Tjolöholm’s play village

You can also enjoy a coffee with a magical view of the castle at Café Manegen that once was the estate’s dressage hall. If you are looking for a snack, this is the place to go. Here you can purchase sandwiches, pastries and cookies made of locally grown produce. Everything served at the café can be ordered to take away, so you can enjoy a picnic in the castle garden or along any of our walking paths. Located directly adjacent to the the café is Tjolöholm’s play village. There, the children can play in a recreated Tjolöholm with houses, stables and a school.
