Few historical rulers are as mythical as England’s Elizabeth I. Even 500 years after her death she continues to arouse fascination around the world in new books, documentaries and films made about her life. With its British heritage and Elizabethan inspired architecture, Tjolöholm Castle is the natural setting to tell the story of this remarkable woman. The exhibition "Elizabeth I at Tjolöholm's Castle" shows some of the magnificent costumes from the blockbuster film Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
You see the exhibition during the guided tours of the castle. An information text in English is available.
The exhibition is produced by Tjolöholms Slott in association with NBC Universal and Livrustkammaren in Stockholm.
