A tradition for many families is to enjoy the sights and sounds of spring at Tjolöholms castle during the Easter weekend.  This year there are even more activities to take part in, let the children meet the Easter bunny in “The Great Easter Egg Hunt”, enjoy a pancake buffet for lunch at Café Manegen, go for a horse and carriage ride or play at the exhibition Emil! The Easter party starts on Thursday 18 April and runs until Monday 22 April, opening hours are 10.30-16 every day.


The entrance fee for the Easter celebrations at Tjolöholms castle is 60 SEK for adults and 120 SEK for children, included in the entrance fee, amongst other things, is the treasure map for the “Great Easter Egg Hunt” with a reward for the children from the Easter bunny, even adults will receive an Easter gift. Free admission if you have pre-purchased guided tour tickets, these must be shown at the entrance.



Welcome to a great outdoor activity for the whole family! Find the Easter eggs which are hidden in and around the castle gardens. New for this year is the three different trails for the Easter egg hunt, you can choose which of the trail’s suits you and your company best.
The short trail: Is accessible for prams and wheelchairs and suitable for those who want a slightly shorter Easter egg hunt.
The middle trail: Is slightly longer.
The adventure trail: Takes you into the woods around the castle and is a bit tougher and suitable for those who are looking for a challenge.

When you have found all the eggs, go to the Easter bunny who is waiting with a yummy reward. The last Easter Egg hunt start’s latest at 15.00 which gives you time to collect your reward before we close for the day.
