All the surplus from the Christmas market goes to preserving and developing the natural and cultural values of the estate so that it is available to both today’s visitors and future generations.

Tjolöholm castle’s Christmas market is one of the largest in the west of Sweden and have been a tradition since 1987, with over a hundred exhibitors selling their arts, crafts and food delicacies on the estate.  The whole estate sparkles with festive lights and beautiful decorations. Every day there are many fun activities for both children and adults to enjoy. And for the hungry one, there is no shortage in places to eat.

CRAFTS AND CHRISTMAS DELICASIES

At the Christmas market, craftsmen and food producers are selling an array of handmade gifts and unique products. The castle gift shop is filled with items inspired by the history of the castle; including the castles own Christmas tea which is an appreciated gift.

CHRISTMAS FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Every day during the Christmas market, exciting things happen for both children and adults! Father Christmas receives children’s wish lists. You can make your own Christmas decorations, watch performances and visit the upper floors in the castle. The children can also play in “Tjolöholms lekby”, a play village inside Manegen, the old riding hall.
