The former Village Hall was built in the workers village in 1904 as a place for the estate’s employees to meet. Today Storstugan has been renovated into a successful restaurant and café offering great home-made from the best locally sourced ingredients. When the weather is warm it is wonderful to sit outside in the garden or courtyard and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding meadows and farmland. From Storstugan you can gaze over the land where Tjolöholm’s cows graze, or you can watch our bees collecting pollen for our honey. During autumn and winter, Storstugan makes a warm and cosy destination after long walks. The open fire there to warm chilly fingers and toes while our good home cooking will warm your soul.
The Storstugan restaurant is open:
28th January–21nd May Saturdays, Sundays 12 am–4 pm

Weddings, conferences and events
Do you want to celebrate your wedding in a unique and cozy atmosphere? Then Storstugan is a great choice. The Castle Church is located right next door, so after an atmospheric wedding, a short walk leads you right to the banquet hall where the wedding toast and dinner will be waiting.
Storstugan is also a popular party venue for corporate events, family celebrations and is suitable for parties of up to 60 people. Because it is a warm and homely atmosphere, the room is perfect for smaller parties. If you want to organize a family reunion or a birthday party during our opening hours, we will accommodate you in the upper hall, which is excellent for a group of 12-50 people.
